It's officially the holiday season this year. What that means is that there will be an additional 8+ million packages going through the USPS daily during the week prior to Christmas. The USPS says they start prepping for the holiday push back in January of the year. But as consumers we all know that with excess packages the law of averages kick in. Meaning that there will be more instances of things getting lost and damaged as they take in the holiday rush. This interview series is with a longtime Facebook Seller Louie Arbs. I've purchased several variants from him over the years. His books are always packed and sent securely in a timely manner. And every so often he sends really good a freebie or two as well. Not just some random filler or dollar book but good stuff I would've actually bought myself. I definitely recommend him!

This interview series takes us to Chicago, my home town, and an interview with an old radio friend. James VanOsdol is a Chicago staple when it comes to radio. He was one of the DJ's I listened to on Chicago's Alternative station Q101 in the 90's. James has been a host on several stations/shows, is a writer, author and content creator. He now runs the World's Only Food Podcast Recorded in a Car - Car Con Carne. And also hosts Demo 312 - a show focused on the local talent in the Chicago music scene on 101.1 WKQX. On top of all the media work he's done, he's one of the most genuine and nicest people I've met when I worked in rado. And he's a huge comic book fan and collector!

This interview series is with Justin Alley of Crime Alley Comics and Collectables. I met Justin last year at the Cleveland Comic & Toy Show. He was running a table in the same building as I was. We did a trade for a few books and exchanged info and kept in contact. He's big into comics and also collectables, so for all the readers that are into Pops you'll enjoy some of his photos of his collection.

I'm starting an interview series with a variety of people in the hobby. Some will be sellers, collectors, and even artists and stores as well. It's always fun to learn about what got others into collecting and what they like. Plus it's a small community and we should all help support each other especially during these times of a pandemic. So here's our first interview with more to come!
